Here it is. That is right, on one of the beautiful canals of Amsterdam.

From Schiphol
Our local airport is Schiphol Airport. From there you can take a cab directly (expect to pay 35 euros) or use public transport. There is a direct train from Schiphol Airport, which takes about 10 minutes, bringing you to Central Station. From there take a cab or bus (as below).

Public transport
Public transport in Amsterdam is good, cheap and frequent. Taxis are overpriced.
Go to Amsterdam Centraal Station by train. 
From there you can take a taxi ( the fare is about 8 euro) or a bus.

The bus from Central Station is bus 18, from. You pay 1 zone (about 1 euro) and you get off the bus at the stop called "Nieuwe Willemstraat". Walk trough the green and there is a bridge, which you cross. Now cross the pedestrian crossing in front of you. At the left is another bridge, which you cross. Just over the bridge, go left, along the water. There you´ll find me.

From within Amsterdam: you can take tram 10 direction ""van Hallstraat" and get out at the stop "Nassaukade". Follow the tram over the bridge, then turn left along the water.

Car
Coming from East (A1 or A2): on approaching, take Ring Zuid, then go for Ring West.
Or: coming from the West (A9): choose Zaanstad/Centrum, then Ring West.
Or: coming from South (A4) (shiphol airport): choose ring west.
Or: coming from North: choose ring west, at exit S104 get off, go left, left again, so you make a full U-turn and now you are driving North again (Yes it's crazy. Complain at the Municipality of Amsterdam).

Now you are driving on the Ring West, heading North: take exit S103/Haarlem, and keep right on the exit. You will now turn right, heading West to the city center on the Haarlemmerweg.Continue until you see a sign S100 Centrumring. That is the inner ring road. Turn right. After a short while the S100 turns left, there is also a street to the right but you go straight, along the water. Here it is. Attention: paid parking. And don't leave valuables in the car.

Bicycle
From central station: at the end of Haarlemmerdijk there is the Haarlemmerplein. Turn left into the Marnixstraat. After 300 metres there is a small green with a bicycle road to the right. So go right. Over the bridge turn right and go over another bridge. Turn left immediately along the water. Here it is.
